Emily Young is Sam Uley's fiancée and second cousin to Leah Clearwater. During a relationship with Leah, Sam imprinted upon Emily and left Leah. Emily at first tried to reject Sam, but his adoring devotion and warming love to her won her over eventually. Despite this, Emily bears no ill will towards Sam or the other werewolves of the pack. Bella observes that Emily considers the werewolves – Sam Uley, Jacob Black, Jared, Leah Clearwater, Quil, Embry, and Paul – to be her family. She is very kind and generous, accepting everyone as shown when she accepts Bella Swan into the werewolf group.
Physical Description
She has three long scars on her face, and one long scar reaching down to her arm, which were given to her by Sam once when he lost his temper and turned into a werewolf when she was too close. In Forks, and most of La Push, everyone thinks that the scars are from a bear attack. Emily has black hair and is said to have been beautiful before the scars. According to Jacob, Sam feels pain every time he sees the scars.
